A day at the park....

On Monday, the boys were anxious to go outside, so we ventured over to the park before it got too hot. Carter loved the swings. He is such a sweet and happy baby!

Bryce loves to chase the ducks and tries to catch them, however, he never succeeds. I am sure that one day he will. We took along some bread to feed the ducks and the swan. When we go to the store, Bryce insists on getting a second loaf of bread, just for the ducks.

My big, little man! He is growing up so fast! By the way, he insisted on wearing his rain boots to the park. I love him!

Carter and his undies...

Carter has been having a diaper rash lately, so I was trying different interventions to help his poor little bottom. First, I let him run around naked, but after cleaning up many messes, I decided to put these cotton training pants on him. They were lose and 100% cotton, unlike his diapers. I thought that he looked so cute in the big boy undies. He wasn't too happy about me taking his picture.

Sleepy Boy...

Bryce loves to wear things on his head; hats, pajama bottoms, towels, etc. This is his pirate (Capt. Feathersword - Wiggles) hat and he wears it all the time. This day he was watching TV and fell asleep in the chair with his hat over his eyes. I thought that it was too cute not to post.

What is Carter up to these days....

Carter is now 13 months old and such a sweet and lovable boy. He is very laid back and loves to explore. He walks everywhere and loves to climb the stairs. He just hasn't figured out how to climb down them yet. He can say "Momma" and "Dada". He says other baby babbles but I think that he will not talk as much or as quick as Bryce did because he always has his pappie (pacifier) in his mouth. He loves his pappie. He sleeps from about 8pm until 7am, then I give him a bottle and have him stay in his bed until 8am. He usually takes 2 naps a day. He eats just about anything you give him as long as he can hold it in his hand and it is not slimy. His favorite food is spaghetti. He loves his brother and thinks that he hung the moon, although he has started biting him recently. He too is a climber, like his brother. He loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the mornings. While he and Bryce are alike in some ways, they are also very different. Carter is calm and just goes with the flow. He is definitely my easy baby and I am so thankful.

What is Bryce up to these days...

Bryce is now 3 1/2 and full of energy. He is very lovable
and is growing so fast. He is also very strong willed and
knows what he wants and wants it now. He loves to climb
trees in the backyard, jump on the trampoline, and watch Jon and Kate
plus 8("Cake" as he calls her). We still have to keep him
locked in the house because he loves to escape and jump over
fence to go to the neighbors yard. He has recently discovered the
word "favorite" and tells you that his favorite color is
yellow, number is 2 and letter is B. He is a boy of
repetition and loves to do the same things over and over
again. He will be starting preschool at Wesleyan Christian
Academy on September 2nd.
